Customizer Tips and Troubleshooting

Here are some quick tips to help make the most out of the customizer.

Adding names to the same design.

  • Quick & Easy Option: Design one item with your preferred font and placement, then add all the names in the text box on the cart page. Make sure you’ve added the correct number of items to your cart — our team will ensure each name looks great and matches your original design.
  • Reuse Your Design: After creating your first design, click the “Save Design” button at the bottom of the customizer -this lets you easily reuse the same layout while adjusting individual names, placements, or fonts.
  • Large Orders: If you’re personalizing dozens or even hundreds of items, reach out to us via email or our Contact Page. We’ll create professional mockups featuring your logo and names to ensure consistency across every piece.

Logo Not Showing Correctly?

If your logo isn’t displaying completely in the customizer, the issue is likely related to color or contrast in your artwork. Our engraving software needs to decide which areas of your design are engraved and which are left untouched.

Everything that appears darker in your design will be engraved, while lighter areas will not be engraved.

Tips for Best Results

  • Use black and white artwork. Solid black-and-white logos produce the cleanest, most consistent engraving results.
  • Keep it simple. Designs that look like coloring book drawings engrave beautifully — fine details or gradients often don’t translate well.
  • Avoid full-color or photographic images. Our laser engravers work best with simple graphics. Photographs or complex color images cannot be engraved accurately.
  • Convert colored logos to black and white. If your logo has multiple colors, try finding or creating a simplified black-and-white version.

Using the same design with several colors

  • Reuse Your Design: After creating your first design, click the “Save Design” button at the bottom of the page. This allows you to quickly apply the same logo, text, or layout to other color variations of the same item.
  • Keep It Consistent: Once saved, simply open a new color option of your product and load your saved design — everything will stay aligned and consistent across all colors.
